It was a casual shoot. I'd see something, then I ask them to pose. From the collection of photos I have taken, I started noticing something, hmm.. the series is looking more like a prenup shoot already.

Cinematic Concepts recently covered the Ultimate Pampanga Culinary Tour hosted by the ultimate brothers, Anton Diaz of ourawesomeplanet.com and Ivan Man Dy of oldmanilawalks. They were able to conduct a tour that fulfilled the cravings for lechon and awesome Pampanga dishes prepared by Claude Tayag himself.

Batanes is a photographer's paradise. It offers a lot of beautiful sceneries with white beaches, captivating sunsets, strong waves along its coasts, old churches and old stone houses. While taking photos in Batanes you can really feel how nature is at work. Producing one video teaser from the shots I took was not enough. This 2nd video teaser showcases the group of people who I travelled with in Batanes. 

Here's a tip: Since I travelled with a group, I made the biggest no-no in travel photography which is I kept the other passengers waiting. I wanted to take a lot of videos and photos in every stop. I can now imagine that if you are into serious travel photography, it is better to travel alone or with a small group of photographers. You do not want to be the most popular person in the tour if you keep catching up with the group. ;)

Taking the shots for Ultimate Tours Batanes is one of the greatest physical challenges that I have ever experienced. Everyday for the first three days, I was waking up at 4am to start shooting, go hiking, walking, running, with all my camera equipment. I had to be very very extra careful with the expensive equipment that I had to carry around while enduring the dust, splashes of water, and the hot sun. I am just glad that it never rained! The weather was perfect to go to Batanes. This made the tour to go so well it kept everyone so excited. The wind blowing through the clouds and the trees, the beautiful coasts, wild cows and carabaos, passing through tight roads at the edge of the mountains, and the culinary ivatan experience, all fell into place. It was well orchestrated by Anton Diaz, of ourawesomeplanet. I can't wait to shoot the next tour of ultimate philippines.
